Free Tutoring & Academic Mentorship

I believe access to quality math support shouldn't depend on a family's income. That's why I offer free tutoring and academic mentorship to three students each term (Fall, Spring, and Summer). 

What I offer:

• One-on-one math tutoring

• Academic mentorship: study strategies, navigating coursework, and building confidence in STEM

• Guidance for first-gen students navigating the college experience — something I understand both personally and through my own academic journey

Why I do this:

I do this because, as the first in my family to attend college and someone who grew up in a low-income household, I know firsthand how difficult it is to navigate college; especially the transition from high school. I had a long and difficult road to get where I am today, and I received invaluable help along the way from professors and academic mentors. Now, I want to pay it forward.

Who this is for:

• Middle school, high school, or early first generation college students

• Students from low-income households

• Anyone who wants extra support in math and doesn't have access to paid tutoring
