Advanced Studies Institute (ASI) in Mathematical PhysicsÂ
Institute of Mathematics, Urgench State University
During summer 2022, I attended (ASI) Mathematical Physics lecture series at Urgench State University, Uzbekistan. Covering the following topics:
Functional analysis review, Ergodic theory
Topics in fluid dynamics: relativistic Euler equations and the free-boundary relativistic Euler equations with a physical vacuum boundary.
Fractional derivatives: classical solutions of forward problems and the second method for solving inverse problems.
In addition to attending the lectures at this Institute, I also work with Dr. Zair Ibramigov (a professor at California State University, Fullerton) in a small research project. Where we investigate properties of the Apollonian metric on the unit circle with 2 and 3 punctures, the objective was to determine the sharp Gromov hyperbolicity constant for the Apollonian metric on these spaces.
